Editing and design are currently underway for an expanded hardcover version of After the Storm, with over 100 photos, a 13×9″ horizontal format, and a panoramic design which showcases the cinematic drama of the Outer Banks landscape and the lives of the surfers that call it home.  It will be printed in a limited edition by one of the finest book crafters in Europe, on the finest quality paper.

 

As you may know, making a high-quality photo book costs a lot of money, and I am about to begin a dedicated fundraising campaign to pay for the up-front costs.  Those of you who are interested in obtaining pre-sales of the book may contact me at chris@chrisbickford.com.  Further details on the fundraising effort will be available soon.  Announcements regarding publishing houses will also be made as the book comes closer to fruition.

 

Everyone who contributes to the production of the book, either by pre-ordering, sponsorship, or donation, will be mentioned in the book itself.  Even if you donate $10, your name will appear in the book under “Donors and Sponsors.”   Larger sponsors will be supplied with enough signed copies of the book to recoup your investment.
